Co-occurring disorders workshop: May 1 2009

The CRIMINAL JUSTICE/ADDICTION WORKGROUP presents:
Understanding the Complexity of Co-Occurring Disorders: One + One = Seven

this 'mini-gap' workshop on co-occuring disorders will cover:
  • psychiatric disorders: symptoms, diagnosis and treatment needs
  • borderline personality disorder: identifying features and treatment approaches to the patient with substance abuse and borderline personality disorder
  • ethical issues in the treatment of co-occurring disorders
  • symptom management and group therapy for patients with co-occurring disorders
  • risk assessment and risk management in the treatment of patients with co-occurring disorders
